Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Reverything website, category voting (Daily Five duels), consensus pages, receipts, and support. By using the site, you acknowledge the data practices described here.

Your anonymous votes. Each vote records the category, the presented pair, and your choice, stored under an anonymous hash that is scoped to one category. It cannot be traced across categories and contains no name, email, or identity.

Device credential. Your browser holds a random credential so the service can issue vote sessions and prevent double voting. The server stores only one-way hashes of it — never the credential itself.

Anti-abuse signals. Rate limits and verification challenges (such as Turnstile, when enabled) protect voting integrity. Raw IP addresses and user-agent strings are never stored alongside votes.

Receipts. Your voting receipt lives only in your browser. Sharing it (for example as an image) happens on your device; we do not keep a server copy.

Login (optional). Logging in never links your account identity to your votes.

Information you provide. If you contact support, we receive the content you choose to send in email or chat.

We store your device credential, unfinished votes, and receipts in browser-local storage so you can return later. A login session cookie is set only if you choose to log in. None of this storage is used for advertising. You can clear cookies and site data in browser settings at any time.

Votes are aggregated into per-pair counts, then a deterministic algorithm (bradley-terry-mm-v1) computes public consensus snapshots. Categories with too few votes show a forming state with no order or percentages, so small samples can never fake a result.

Snapshots are public aggregates, not personal data: they contain ranks and scores, never individual votes or identities.

• Run voting, issue vote sessions, and prevent double voting;
• Compute public consensus snapshots from anonymous aggregates;
• Keep the service secure, handle errors, and prevent abuse;
• Reply when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information or use your votes for third-party personalised advertising.

We disclose information only to service providers that need it to provide hosting, databases, support, or security. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users and the service.

Consensus snapshots are public by design.

Browser-local data is yours to clear. Raw votes are deleted automatically after each category's configured audit window; aggregate pair counts and snapshots may be retained. Because votes carry no identity, we cannot locate your individual votes — contact support@reverything.com about account or support data.
